This course is intensive. The training day consists of 6 to10 hours per day, divided between flight and classroom time. Your training is based on the building block method of instruction with clearly organized flight and ground instruction periods. Everything we teach is thoroughly explained so you have a detailed training map with completion standards; you’ll know what to expect. Ours is not a hit and miss approach that leaves the student guessing and wondering how to fit the knowledge and flight tasks together in some meaningful way. You will fully understand the task and knowledge requirements of each flight period and be able to identify the pertinent risk management strategies and decision making that constitute safe IFR operations for that day. On the basis of your daily evaluations you will know exactly where you need to focus your personal improvement efforts and where your strengths as an instrument pilot lie as well.
