COURSE DESCRIPTION
A relaxed, fun, and interactive 2-day course designed to help individuals interested in the commercial operation of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) pass the required FAA knowledge exam. Topics include federal regulations, airspace, operations, loading / performance, and weather. Taught by FAA certified flight instructors with thousands of hours of manned pilot experience, this course goes beyond just preparing the candidate to pass the FAA exam; it provides candidates with real-world knowledge to operate their aircraft safely and legally.

60 Multiple Choice Questions
2 hour time limit
70% minimum passing score
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 16-years-of-age
Read, speak, write, and understand English
Have reasonably good health (no medical certificate required)
Pass an aeronautical knowledge test
Be vetted by the TSA

They offer an awesome course that prepares you in two days for the test. There are other places online that offer services but give V1 a shot. They will prepare you to take the test in two days and pass with flying colors.

If you’re going to take a course to prepare for your commercial sUAS testing, V1 Aeronautics is the place to do it. I originally did it through a website (which just provided glorified PowerPoint slides…no way of asking questions) which didn’t go so well. This was before we knew that Bryan offered classes. Wasn’t too confident when I went in for my initial exam. Took the class through Bryan and passed with a much higher score than I thought and was incredibly more confident taking the exam. The lesson here is to stay away from online “classes” and take your class with V1. Much better experience and was a ton more fun than staring at a computer screen for hours. Totally worth it!
